Thanks to Shelton Vineyards, we
are privileged to offer one of the most beautiful show
locales ever for the Gathering's Participants' Choice
Car Show! Stroll around the beautiful grounds of
the largest family-owned estate winery in North
Carolina, while enjoying the sight of great British cars
of all marques! Last year, over 200 cars attended
representing over 10 varying marques!
For an additional treat, drop in
for a Pairing Wines with Food Seminar
or enjoy a winery tour and tasting—all Seminar and
tour/tasting participants will receive a special
commemorative wine glass.
For lunch, you can bring a picnic
or, better yet, sample the wonderful faire offered by
Shelton's
Harvest Grill Restaurant. The Deli will open at 8 am
offering coffee, assorted danishes,
cheeses and cheese spreads. Beginning at 11 am, the restaurant will serve
its full lunch menu in the dining room and will also offer a carryout service
featuring sandwiches, salads, pastries, fruit and cheese selections and
cold drinks. In addition, there will also be Box Lunches on site for $10.
Register early and save! All
registrations postmarked by March 28, 2008 will save $5
off the weekend or Saturday-only registration fee. Show
classes will be determined based upon pre-registration
as of March 28, 2008. Three pre-registered cars of one
kind are required to establish a class. The number of
awards presented in each class will be determined by the
number of cars in each class as of March 28, 2008. The
first 200 registrants will receive show dash plaques.
Note: The car show
winners will be announced at 3:00 pm Saturday afternoon.
